Check-In: Stop into the show office to check-in with event staff.

 

Trade Show Entry/Exit Doors

20 Volunteers ($5 for parking / $10 for food)

 

You will be responsible for ushering people into the trade show as quickly as possible through the designated entry. There will be four doors for entry, one for re-entry and five for exiting. This position requires standing all day with the opportunity for bathroom breaks and one lunch break.

 

Trade Show Emergency Exit Doors

10 Volunteers ($5 for parking / $10 for food)

 

You will be responsible for making sure nobody uses the emergency exit doors unless there is an actual emergency and the building requires an evacuation. If that were to happen, you’ll be responsible for unhooking the stanchions so that people can exit quickly and safely. This position will allow for sitting or standing all day with the opportunity for bathroom breaks and one lunch break.

 

Seminar Greeter

10 Volunteers ($5 for parking / $10 for food)

 

You will be responsible for helping direct people and greeting people into each seminar. Registration check-in may or may not be required, depending on how the event sells This position will allow for standing mostly with some sitting throughout the day with the opportunity for bathroom breaks and one lunch break.

 

Reimbursement: Food and parking receipts should be shown upon leaving your shift with the volunteer manager in the staff area. You’ll return your radio if you have one, provide your receipts and then sign for your $15.00 max reimbursement.
